A lovely portrait of an icon. This is the Type 718 RSK owned for the past 40 years by Tom Beil of Pennsylvania. He was racing it at the same events Back in the Day where I was racing my A Production Corvette. I just photographed it last month in Hershey at the Antique Auto Club of America Museum, which is featuring a Porsche exhibit (including a 959). One of these just sold for $3.2 mill or thereabouts. Crazy. Fwiw Roger Penske drove one of these in hillclimbs in the 60s. I have photos.
